About

Stuart Hamilton studied art and architecture at Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS from 1972-1977. He graduated with a Bachelor of Interior Architecture degree and a minor in Fine Art. Stuart's initial career took a path towards space planning and interior architecture for some of the largest companies in the Plain States. In the 1990's he was a Change Communication Specialist for the Herman Miller Company traveling across North America to help fortune 500 companies understand change and how the workplace could affect change in their companies. Upon relocating to New Mexico in 2004 he resumed his passion for painting and produced small to large scale acrylic and encaustic paintings inspired by the landscape, architecture and nuances of Northern New Mexico.
